Power Apps Canvas Apps Fundamentals

This course provides students with an introduction to creating Canvas Apps by providing a foundational understanding of Microsoft Power Apps.

Description

This course provides students with an introduction to Power Apps Canvas Apps by building a foundational understanding of the Power Apps fundamentals. This includes the skills needed to operate many of Power Apps’ key features such as creating, customizing, publishing and running a custom Canvas Application.

Students will learn important app creation skills including how to proficiently work in Microsoft Power Apps, to create custom Canvas Applications.

 

Audience profile

This course has been designed to apply to end users of Microsoft Power Apps.
It is recommended that attendees of this course have an existing working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. However, this course assumes no prior knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

 

At course completion

After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Login to and navigate the Canvas Apps capabilities in Power Apps.
  • Import data to Power Apps via a SharePoint List.
  • Create a Custom application.
  • Customize applications, galleries and forms.
  • Publish and test custom applications.

This module provides an introduction to the lab environment and lab settings as well as instructions to setup your instance of Dynamics 365 (with sample data).
